Do you feel overwhelmed?
If you have Hashimoto’s – that’s overwhelming on its own.
Add that to living in this crazy world, and your overwhelm is completely understandable.
Our culture pushes the busy, the fast paced, the work all-hours.
But if you push too hard, you will exhaust yourself. It’s terrible for your autoimmunity.
Shifting your perspective to look at it as a motivator to reinvent yourself can be helpful. There’s a new you buried under the symptoms!
It’s possible to heal Hashimoto’s and leave the symptoms behind. In doing so, you will experience a personal transformation.
Remember, you’re here for a purpose. It’s true.
Hashimoto’s and hypothyroid are no joke. They can fool you and make you feel like it’s all hopeless. That’s the disease talking.
You are so much more!
Remember your wholeness – it exists.
Right now things may feel overwhelming and depressing –
The good news is that tools exist that can help you!
According to Ayurveda, the healing science related to Yoga, every person has a unique constitution.
When you add autoimmunity, you have a unique person, indeed.
And so, there’s no one size fits all ‘cure’ to Hashimoto’s.
I mean, yes, take your prescriptions and listen to your Doctor.
I’m not even talking about that right now.
This is about taking care of yourself and looking at your lifestyle rhythms.
Even if you take all the recommended medication, unless you heal your lifestyle, remission and total wellness will remain elusive.

And now, a tip for you. If you’re having digestive distress: herbs are your friends. One example of a healing herb to cook with is dill.
Dill in a ground spice form retains a lot of its healing properties and I always have some in my spice cabinet.
Fresh dill is especially nice.
You can get a piece of wild caught salmon and drizzle a little olive oil over the top.
Then cover your fish generously in dill and sea salt.
It’s yummy to squeeze a fresh lemon over the top before you bake it. Keep in mind that lemon is a histamine food, so if you’re currently experiencing food allergies or hives, I don’t recommend using the lemon.
Bake at 400 for around 25 minutes (depending on size of fish – look for a flaky quality when cooked).
Bon apetite!
