Establishing a consistent Yoga practice is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Breathing, moving, stretching, taking time to care for yourself, will change your body. It will allow comfort, space, a sense of relief.
A healthy life is foundational to realizing your dreams. A clear mind reveals your purpose, a healthy body makes it possible to carry it out.
When you’re healthy, everything is easier.

What can we do??
A lot, actually. Health is one area of life where we can exert a good amount of control. But how?
Ayurveda and Yoga contain so many answers.

Through taking charge of what you eat, your daily rhythms, how you move, how you sleep, how you talk to yourself – even how you breathe – you create new health outcomes.
In so doing, you alter your own destiny for the better.
You live our “one wild and precious life” in the very best way that you can. (quote from Mary Oliver)
It’s powerful at the start of the new year (like now) to do the following journal exercise:
Draw a big circle on your page.
Draw a line to halve the circle, then cross that line to quarter it. Do this one more time, to create 8 pie pieces.
Write a word in each piece to represent a different area of your life, such as: Love, Home, Finances, Friendship, Spirituality, Family, a hobby or something you love to do, and Health.
Below your pie write a couple of sentences about each piece. What would you love to see that area of your life look like this year? Not what you left behind last year, but something you’re walking toward – something that gives you a good feeling.
When you get to the Health piece, close your eyes. Really get a clear picture of what you would like to see your health outcomes be for 2022.
How will you feel at the end of the year?
Energized? Flexible? Free of food allergies? At peace in your body and mind?
Write it down.
